We take transparency seriously
CHAPTER#2 is legally registered as a private company (sociedad limitada) because we want to be the agile organisation for our stakeholders: government, administrations, NGOs, universities and migrants.

We think the root cause for the debate of being a private company, a non-profit organisation or a cooperative is transparency.

That's why at CHAPTER#2 we measure, improve and communicate our governance model as a BCorp, the social and environmental certification for business.
Our mission
CHAPTER#2 facilitates migrants' inclusion through emotional support and activities towards economic independence.
Our values
  • Positive Social Impact
All CHAPTER#2 activities shall improve our customers' life, having a positive impact on our stakeholders.
  • Economic Sustainability
CHAPTER#2 shall seek economic sustainability for the organisation and for the projects we mentor.
  • Network
CHAPTER#2 shall work building a network with other organisations and stakeholders.
  • Emotional intelligence
CHAPTER#2 shall work taking accountability of its actions and teaching entrepreneurs for being responsible of theirs.
CHAPTER#2 and the
Sustainable Development Goals
On 1 January 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development officially came into force. Over the next fifteen years, countries will mobilize efforts to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind.

CHAPTER#2 is onboard working on improving the three following SDGs' objectives:
  • Goal 8: Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all.
At CHAPTER#2 we empower migrants once they have arrived at hosting societies by mentoring business ideas. That creates the conditions that allow people to have quality jobs and meaningful activities.
  • Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries.
"Inequality within countries has risen. There is growing consensus that economic growth is not sufficient to reduce poverty if it is not inclusive." At CHAPTER#2 we partner with first aid organisations for going beyond an assistentialist attitude - we use entrepreneurship as a tool for social and labour inclusion.
  • Goal 11: Make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
"Cities are hubs for ideas, commerce, culture, science, productivity, social development and much more. At their best, cities have enabled people to advance socially and economically." Through building and actively participating in the network, CHAPTER#2 supports positive economic, social and environmental links between urban, peri-urban and rural areas by strengthening national and regional development planning.
